Binomio de Oro de América, one of Colombia's most beloved Vallenato bands, was founded in 1976 by the legendary Israel Romero and Rafael Orozco. They quickly became a cornerstone of the genre, known for blending traditional Colombian sounds with contemporary influences, transcending borders, making them stars in Latin music history.

The co-founder, Israel Romero (known as "El Pollo Isra,"), is a master accordionist whose skills and charismatic stage presence have been central to the group's success, and the late Rafael Orozco a gifted singer with a voice that captivated audiences. The group created many stars in the genre, notably Jean Carlos Centeno and Jorge Celedon.

Over the last decades, Binomio de Oro has released a string of hits that solidified their place in Colombian music history. Their extensive repertoire and influence have made them ambassadors of Vallenato music internationally, and their performances remain as energetic and passionate as ever, ensuring that the legacy continues to thrive.

Binomio de Oro de América returns to London to present a special show at the Royal Regency on Saturday 26th of April.
